It’s been exactly one month since I´ve moved to Viñales. Time flies here. I didn’t have any problems in getting the family visa however I have to extend it each month and pay of course.
I do have a fridge now! Finally! It doesn’t freeze things as it should be and it was way too expensive but at least I don’t have to run to Fidel’s mum every time I want a glass of water. Yay!
Me and Fidel survived the first month of living together and haven’t killed each other. Big plus. I’m not an easy roommate as for last four years I’ve been living alone. But Fidel is patient. I think I’ll keep him 😉
I’m getting use to “Cuban Things” like washing dishes with the powder for washing clothes. And my body finally accepts rice and beans every day.
I started to run again. The weather doesn’t help but I need to move. Cubans, especially Cuban girls here in Viñales are not really fit. In a month I haven’t seen anybody exercising so people are looking at me with rather strange faces. I don’t care. I’ll do what I can to not grow myself a Cuban belly.
Let´s see what month number 2 has to offer. I´ll keep you posted of course 🙂
